Born in Pontypridd in 1975, Jon Lawrence is an artist whose creations have spanned many artforms. As a singer songwriter and musician he has been compared to Paul Carrack and Neil Finn, while as a writer his work has been likened to that of Jodi Picoult by Amazon readers. His work has received plaudits and attention from media and audiences all over the world.

Having studied ethnomusicology at Master's Degree level, he now travels to schools around the world talking to children about music and cultures around the globe. His business CEAMS (Creative Education & Music Solutions) has seen him work with schools in Norfolk UK and Marlborough New Zealand. He also gives lectures and workshops on creative writing in schools and colleges.

Jon also plays live as one third of the band HUSH, who play an energetic mix of acoustic music. Jon is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist who sings and plays piano, guitar, bass, banjo, ukulele, harmonica, charango and drums, as well as dabbling with a host of instruments from all over the world.
